1st I was gonna say this list would make you guys mad, but after thinking about it. I think you guys would love for this to be true. then you would know Dix would be there at 16.

He was rated 34th & the 3rd Safety.

Broaddus Big Board: Ranking The Top 50 Prospects

think this is the 1st time I didn't see him as the 1st safety.

I would have no problem if the Cowboys took Dix at 16, though I think it might work out better if the Cowboys went with the best DL in the 1st, and then waited to see if Pryor or Ward fell to the 2nd, or Huff or Dixon to the 3rd. There's less of a difference between those guy and Dix than there is between the 1st round DL and the 2nd/3rd round DL

I like Broaddus, but he is way off on a lot of players IMO. He thinks Pryor is a pure CF type which I totally disagree with. I follow him on twitter, so I read most of his stuff and he was very accurate on who Dallas seemed to like and not like last year. Without looking at the link I'll guess he also has Ealy very low and probably Hageman too. He probably also has Lewan below Martin which I totally disagree with...Now I'm going to check my guesses.

Well, I was mostly right. He has Lewan one spot above Martin. I guess most of his comments that the Cowboys should take Martin over Lewan are based on the position flexibility. So he never really stated he thought Martin was better, just better for Dallas.

System players like clairborne and dix will struggle in the nfl. The best centerfielder in the draft is Ward. I still think the OL and DL are more pressing needs. We also need upgrades at linebacker. I see Pryor as more like Roy Williams. Lewan is a freak. Martin really looks like a great prospect as well

I don't think I agree that Martin is better than Lewan. I do think Martin is more likely to be on the board at 16 than Lewan.

When you say system players do you mean playing in a great college defense, if not I am confused......:noidea:

And it takes great individual players to make a great defense...so I am a little confused also

Yes, Claiborne reminds me of Larry Brown. Claiborne looked good in college, not so much in the NFL. Brown left a great defense, signed big contract and stunk for new team. I think Pryyor ends up much better pro than dix
