this guy looks fast in some his returns but as a pass-catcher not near as fast strang maybe it was all the change direction that was throwing me off not sure

DC is his best asset his long speed .. not sure because he looks fast in some long runs then really weird getting caught from what looked as behind or was it they had field good angle work with not sure?

Well he ran a 4.34 so we at least know he has blazing speed. But of course it’s easier to look good when you just run straight with no pads.

Spencer - also reportedly has a 40 inch vertical. My concern is with experience on the Canadian football field - you get used to using the east and west areas of the field, but in NFL fields and NFL football you have to run North and South to be successful as a kick returner. Spencer's pre-season with the Steelers bodes well - though.

I think he deserves a shot. We have to try something better at returner then what we have now. If he doesn’t do much no loss as long as he doesn’t fumble a game away. We can stay content with our then current return situation. This move is fine.

If he can catch the ball without a muff and not run backwards to find a lane - Spencer will be a double plus compared to what the Broncos have had lately.

He's returned 131 punts in his career. 38 yard return this preseason. Upgrade but that's not saying much.

I like how Spencer was counting his return team - prior to every kick/punt - that's professional.
