Singletary might have been a better coach if he wasn't such a dinosaur. We all saw something yesterday that we've been asking each other since the days of Nolan... Why won't the 49ers come out passing against a team with one of the worst ranked secondaries in the NFL?

It's nice having a coaching staff that actually thinks it is a good idea to exploit the opponents weaknesses again, instead of just saying well, I want to run it three times up the gut instead of pass against the 30th ranked passing defense.

Singletary's primary problems is that he wasn't able to surround himself with top coaching talent nor did he really have a clue himself on the offensive side of the ball on how to execute his vision.

When you look at Harbaugh he's doing exactly what Singletary wanted but the big difference is he's surrounded himself with an excellent coaching staff and they're bright enough to game plan to attack and exploit other teams weaknesses.
