Did Dabo talk to Chad Morris before game planning for Bama?

Saban said at halftime that Clemson was copycatting what "other teams" had done against Bama. Arkansas put up 31 against Bama earlier in the year but didnt have enough defense to hold it together. I wouldnt be surprised if CM called Dabo up and "helped" a little with the game plan.

Yes he did. Im really excited to see what CM can put together here. If we can have a top 15 recruiting class after the clusterfuck this year was. I think the future is high with Chad Morris.

After Morris left Clemson, they hired within for the new OC and kept a lot of the same scheme, just making adjustments based off personnel. So it makes sense to talk to a coach with a very similar scheme and someone who has faced Bama and get pointers to what to look out for. There wasn’t much new Clemson did offensively really

Nah - I doubt it. There were no flashy elements to the Clemson offense last night.

I thought the same thing. If our offense can even look half as good as Clemson’s did last night once we get some players in then that will be fun.

Deshaun Watson having success in Houston and Clemson continuing to dominate can only be good for us since we don’t share a recruiting territory. Watson said Morris is like a father figure to him.
