Ya, but I heard you could definitely notice a change in the firmness with +/- 2psi ... especially if you handle footballs on a consistent basis.

They'd all be stored in the same location, I assume. So the temp change/pressure change would be universal.

Very good question and that's what started it all.

All I know is that the NFL is super-competitive deal and alot of teams will push the envelope and do most anything to win or gain an advantage. Some teams more than others ... based on past 'practices & verified infractions'.

I guess some teams learn ... some don't.
