SQOD OR DIE. Jahii is the best point guard in the nation and he will prove it this year. An athletic up tempo team with lots of speed. Should be a fun team to watch.

We really dont have a lock down defender. Shaqs defense was inconsistent but I love his game in transition and he can make free throws. Still don't have a defensive stopper, and it looks like unless we get a solid rebounder at the 4 we will get killed on the glass. Gilling is doing his best............ But we need a scrapper down there.

Shaquille Mckissic actually had 6 rebounds. He wont be as good as Felix on the glass. But hes close enough.

Eric J and Jordan B need to keep the ball up. Tons of missed oppty's for these two Big's! That is one area where we can improve. We played almost every guy tonight and I was most impressed with Shaq and the Russian (and of course nobody can stop Jahesus from getting to the basket) NOBODY.

Really liked Jermaine he looks really smooth. At Penn State he was a first option but at ASU he will be a 2nd option a lot more room for him to work and breath. He looks like a really good shooting guard. Jahii and him could lead the Pac in scoring back courts.

Gillings shot........ Meh like the quicker release and the flatter shot. Shaquille looks really good in transition not a lock down defender though. Cant wait until Kearney is ready to go.

Everyone has gotta do better on the glass we played some scrub team but Bachynski is still soft on the glass. Jacobsen is a solid rebounder and is probably are best. Bad spacing in the 1st half but got better in the 2nd half. And Jermaines gotta get use to handling the ball coming up the court. Jahii will be locked up 75 feet probably.

Who do you think will win the back up point guard spot? Calaen and Chance are really young. Might need to have Jermaine play the back up role for some of the time while Calaen and Chance get development minutes.

Shaq has better handles than Felix did last year obviously Felix is a leader, all around player, glue guy, better 3 point shooter, better basketball IQ etc. But we got 3 guards on the perimeter capable of handling the ball and scoring on there own. Shaq is pretty athletic as well and is just as deadly as Felix was in transition.

JB- Double Double!!!! 15 Reb. I love it! But he can not expect to get fouls! He has to play like they wont call them! He seemed to give up on a few plays because he thought he deserved a foul! But other then that he did his thing! I do not see him getting any tougher! Hope he does! If he does he will be the truth! He has to at least appear fearless! He still killed!!!

Gilling - 10 pts, 6 Reb! I feel he was solid other then hesitation on the 3 pts he missed! He was solid! To me at least! I also think He and the rest of the team must go back to high school and box out! They have to get a body on somebody!

McKissic - What I liked was Shaq did not force anything! You would think with his past scoring year he would come out shooting a lot more! I like that he showed some restraint! 11 pts 6 Reb. 2 Asst. 2 steals! His stat sheet was wide which means he was doing something on both sides of the ball... He also had the second most minutes behind Carson and He looked it! Hopefully Sendek will give him more rest through out the game! He has to attack the rim more I think!

Marshall - Well Marshall was exciting to watch! Looked good in that Devil's Uniform and comfortable! He also is way stronger then I thought! Heard he was strong but when you see him colliding with guys you really see it! He shot well! I did not realize how many 3's he put up until looking at the stat sheet! 19 pts and 100% from the line I love that stat!

Carson- THE TRUTH! He is amazing! Only thing is if they plan to run this fast pace type of game he has to look up! A few times M&M (Marshall and Mckissic) were back and he slowed down the play allowing the defense to get set. At the same time maybe the coaches told him to do that so I will give him the benefit of the doubt! Needless to say he is amazing! Looking forward to watching him more this year!

Starting 5- They can run with the best of them! Once they address that Reb. issue! Notice and maybe they will correct it by next game is that two people never stayed back to Reb. I counted 7 times on a Def. Reb only JB would stay back the rest of the team would be gone! lol

Bench- Egor looked nice, Eric was banging a lot has to bang more!

All in all they are exciting to watch!
