Deshaun Watson will be a New York Jet. Woody Johnson is back from London after three years as the U.S. Ambassador to the UK. He took back his office and is now directing his toy operations. The jets will give the Texans Sam Darnold, the #2 and #23 in the first round this year and the #1 in 2022 and 2023. Woody is going to do whatever has to be done to get Watson and keep him away from Miami. And I mean anything. He wants the NYC headlines and and he wants everyone in NYC to talking about his Jets and Nidk Caserio knows it and will milk him like a cow in the morning.

I would be surprised if the Texans don’t get a better offer then that offer. That is not much more the what the Rams gave up for Stafford.

I'm not gonna lie. I am not ready to give up on Lock, but I wouldn't hate the idea of Watson suiting up as the next Broncos QB. With that said, I hate the idea of more than 2 first round picks.

Reality is this though: teams that have big offense get rewarded by the league. Watson would be insane with the recovered Sutton, Jeudy, Hammier, Patrick, Fant. While I personally love defense, I am no longer convinced a team needs to be able to keep the enemy scoring to 20 PPG. The league has decided it no longer cares about defense and if the Broncos can bring in a QB who has "face of the league" potential it will serve them well on the field.

Cynical look, I realize. That's the NFL we see today though.
