Brady to the Raiders, Carr to the Redskins?

Clearly this is all speculation but I have read multiple articles about the Raiders moving on this offseason. Would we jump in this sweepstakes?

I think Carr is a good QB and would be an upgrade. Bottom line is that I think he would be available. Not sure of the price.

Depends on price. But our pick of Haskins would be wasted . Keep simba and let him grow

Dont want David Carr, unless he comes as a backup. Certainly dont want to trade anything for him. If the Raiders get Brady, then the best move is to wait for the raiders to release Carr.

David Carr peaked a couple of years ago. He's not marginally better than Marcus Mariotta or that Trubisky guy.

Bridgewater or Jameis Winston might be better.

Do NOT waste valuable resources on Carr. Haskins is our clear starter regardless of what anyone including RR is saying. Haskins puts in the work, which he will, he is our clear #1.

Pick is only wasted if Haskins doesn't win the starting position. I do not think we have a clear starter yet. We may but there hasn't been enough to name him a Snyder. On that Doc Walker and I agree.

Last time we named a guy the uncontested starter it did not go so well.

With Haskins likely the only QB returning the team needs another QB. If you draft one in mid rounds you have two QBs with less than 10 games of experience. So bringing in a vet is likely.

Can’t afford Carr with smiths salary hanging over us like an albatross. You would have 40 mil invested on your 2nd and 3rd string qbs

Haskins is the Skins starting QB next season - with the possible exception of Alex Smith - since he's already on the roster. They get the entire season. They're not going to spend a lot of money on Carr or any other QB that's not on the roster.

Agree, Haskins should not be written off already… he should however have competition at his position.

I could not disagree more. You don’t have anybody behind him that could be mistaken for a playoff QB. If you do, it means you are paying too large a price for a guy that cannot lead this team, second worst team in the league last year, to the playoffs.

Carrs not coming to Washington, accept as an opposing player. The only way he's leaving The Raiders is if Brady sign with them and then he's heading to The Bears.

I think the point of bringing in competition isn't too wax the bench but to play if he is better. We did the anointment thing with Griffin. I was Haskins to have competition for a year or two and if he is the man then you take it from there.

I have heard this argument several times. It is called paying for Bruce's fuckup. Sad but true. There has to be a backup. Haskin's is not a proven starter. Do you think Haskins and a 4th round QB is the way to go into the season? I do not.
