Depressing or weirdly optimistic?

Guess who has a higher OPS right now, Rowand or Huff?

In a photo finish, it's Gamer!

This is sad...but if you believe in career averages, it means Huff really is due to go on a tear to get to his career OPS.

How many more 3 HR games you think Huff has left in him?

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt with worse than RoRo numbers due to SSS, but yes, I eagerly await his hot streak. I think it will last longer than one weekend next time.

Uh Oh...

Faulty logic warning...

If you flip a coin 100 times and EVERY time it comes up heads, than if you believe that it should come up tails 50% of the time, that means it will come up tails the next 100 times, right?

All this means is that we should expect Huff to hit for his career OPS the rest of the season. Not above it to get his season average to his career average...

An excellent point. I would be thrilled if Huff hits his career avg OPS the rest of the way.

This just in: Zito throwing 84-88 with the FB last night. Seems like he's healthy.

With a little work, he should have that up to 98-102 within a couple months. 14 MPH added is quite common, afterall.

I completely FORGOT about that. Then again, I'm only operating with 99.
