Yeah read that and it definitely makes sense. I guess for me I was thinking the max protection at the beginning of the game to help establish the run a little more and wear them out early in the Mile High Air. The Chiefs are giving up 5 yards a carry on the ground so it makes sense to test them in that way and push them around a bit then hit them with some play action since we have such good TE's as blockers and receivers on the Broncos.

Seems to me that there is an obvious tradeoff between sending more guys down field and keeping more in to block. I'm not so sure that Del Rio is totally forthcoming about what he intends to do. I also suspect that how the game unfolds will affect what he actually does.
