If the defense doesn't pressure Dak this week something is wrong. It looks like the only way we are going to get pressure this year is if we send people. The defense must step up this week. I think the offense will get back on track vs Dallas. If we somehow lose this game as home there will be alarm bells going off. Most likely the coaching staff on the defensive side of the ball.

the issue as it will be all year long is the d/line . they are a bunch of backups rotating through . smith was invisible and kerrigan wasnt far behind . you cant blitz every play . the d/line needs to get better with the ziggy hood's of the world

Decided to show up to see if the sky was falling, lol... I don't like posting during games because it is too emotional and most posters go over board.
I think we all knew the run defense would be a problem and it is. Bringing back Jenkins won't fix that issue simply because we don't have the players (D-Line or LB's) on the current roster to make an improvement. No real pressure from Smith or Kerrigan, no pressure from interior and our ILB suck, period. Most of the named are really back up ST players. This is what we are stuck with until another Scotty Mac draft and a few FA additions. And for the love of GOD, Hall is no safety!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think execution and good tackling will help but run defense is going to be an issue all year.

The solution is to score and then score again. Can't crap out on 3rd downs and can't not convert in the RZ. Teams won't be running a lot if they have to catch up.

not every play but on 3rd and 12 with the game on the line down by 8 I think you would blitz and let the CBs cover. Don't even get me started.

he gave him a 5.2 grade ... which to Cooley means he should be a back up not starting in the league
