Was looking at the Kings schedule and they play 9 road games in a row (and 10 of 11) in December. That seems a little extreme. Is there an event in LA at that time?
Doing some schedule viewing again, and at least to end the year, of the final 19 games from March on, the Kings play only 6 on the road (And one is at Anaheim). Relatively soft schedule too, if they can get Quick back and make that final stretch. Calgary and Edmonton 3x each as well.
Optimism, love it.
I think if the Kings are still near a playoff spot after the All Star game, and Quick comes back, they will look good going into the playoffs. Just need Kopitar to get on track and Doughty to get his head on straight.
Not giving up hope yet.
Pessimism
Love it
It shows a desire for more.
Contracts with I hated when signed : Quick no goalie is worth that much (at the time he signed)
Kopitar: love the guy but it will be a burden on the team long term
Weird thing is when they signed Brown I was not upset. He was the most underpaid player in the league for several years so I thought a little over pay was ok. He was at the top of his game at the time. Little did anyone know what would happen to him. I was so wishing in the last lockout for 5 year deals. Stop the GMs from long term mistakes
