Dean Blandino says officials blew call against Cowboys

Said defensive holding should've atleast been called. That would've given the Lions a first down. Completely different circumstances at that point if thats called at a minimum. No guaranteed win at all, but a different out come may have happened.

But that doesn't matter. The Lions had a ton of opportunities to make plays after that. Go for it on 4th down. Don't shank the punt. Make a stop on defense. Drive down and retake the lead. They failed in all 3 phases of the game after that. No one to blame for that loss but themselves.

Yep. It was a blown call but officiating sucks, especially when it's a bunch of guys not used to working with each other.

Yeah, I do not understand why the NFL doesn't keep the same officiating crews together for the playoffs. Makes no sense.

But there is a difference between starting about 20-30 yards out of field goal range when down 3. Theres ALOT more pressure when you HAVE to have a TD to win it.

Where's the whining? I simply posted an article stating the head ref said they blew a call. I also said it wouldn't have given the Lions a win but that it changed the circumstances. And it did.

Of course the situation is different, but there was plenty of time and don't you think it is a weird comment after he just had a huge clutch 4th qtr TD drive? It's just trying to continue the idea that Romo chokes at any cost regardless of any objectivity...
