It sounds like there's a good chance (if the price is right) that Clowney may sign with the Eagles. The price would be a 1 year prove it deal between 9-12 mil which would be tremendous value. He wants to play with a winner as he has already turned down bigger money from average to below average teams. Our DLine would be stacked if we can pull this off. Plus as an added bonus, we would get a compensatory 3rd round pick if he were to not re-sign here in 2021.

Well, that would be as cheaper option than trading for Ndakoue, which would cost draft picks and/or a player.

Ironic he wants to sign in Philly after he made negative remarks to the Seattle media about Philly fans...

Guess he played that just right

Good, maybe they'll send him to west Philly and then he's shot.

That's one way to keep Wentz upright!

We'd have a nasty line with him, I will say that.

The on field implications are tempting as hell.

But I don’t know that I see a good chance this happens. It seems odd with so much financial/cap ambiguity right now to spend that cap we have left this year (as opposed to pushing it into next year).

Good news in such an idea is it would not have 2021 cap implications. But what does that mean? If he proves it we have to work in a long term deal into next year. Or....we just take him for one year? I’m not sure that makes a lot of sense across the board since we are not just one DE from Super Bowl or bust.

Brian Baldinger saying to expect a big move from the Eagles this week ... some are speculating it's re-signing Peters, but anything's possible at this point.

I would have to call bs on that one. Not that he wont sign with philly but for months teams have inquired about signing him and has turned down multiple offers to all of a sudden take a 1 year 9-12 million contract? He turned down a 1 year 15 mil contract from the seahawks and a 1 year 18 mil contract from the browns.

If he really wants to be a winner, why would he turn down the Seahawks, they are winners? I understand the Browns.

Talk radio, several stations. Just musing who Baldy may be refering about. We'll see.
I really don't think Jeffrey/Howie want to see Jamal playing for Dallas!
I also wouldn't discount Ngakoue being the guy. I like him more than Clowney.
