Um...OK. A guy with zero career stats is worthy of his own thread?

If this were the Vinny years, an undrafted free agent signed the day before the draft would be like saying "hey I saw a guy in a Cowboy hat eating a cheese burger. "

But with SMGM running things, I dont think we sign camp bodies any more, and any one he brings in has some sort of shot at being around I would think.

Oh I totally agree. I'm just not sure we need a new thread every time SM takes a flier on a long shot.

Thing is, guys with a couple of singles in their pocket, stomach rumbling, and little hope of getting a mere sniff at the NFL, often take advantage of that one shot. Anybody remember Lorenzo Alexander? I believe that some years ago, he went undrafted, got his shot and is still playing. Desperation, rejection and determination have fueled many of the best in every sport in the land. I'm already pulling for the guy!!!

He does sound comparable to Louis Dunbar. He's about the same size and ran a 4.46. His excuse is that he broke his kneecap in his senior year - missing the last 8 games. He still got signed by Indy as an UDFA but didn't recover in time to go full out in practice and got cut. Skins are always looking for tall long-armed CB's to play in their zone defense. They don't have to have great coverage skills.
