I thought they were done with the truTV games after the Field of 64. truTV is not in most basic cable packages.

How did Oregon/Wisconsin get shoved down to that tier?

Trutv always get one 3rd round game on Sunday night because for whatever reason they don't allow CBS to get a late game on Sunday. The last cbs game on Sunday starts after 5 while on Saturday cbs also had a game that started at 730/8

Yeah. I got rid of my cable 'sports package' after the CFB season. It had truTV. I knew I'd miss a couple of Round 64 games, but I think Oregon/Wisconsin is going to be a better game than many expect.

Why is trutv apart of any sports package? Outside of 3 days in March, when else do they show sports?

It's also in other packages that are not sports related. I assume they throw it in the sports package for the reason you mentioned. A customer would be probably pretty pissed off if they were paying for a sports package and didn't have access to all of the tournament games.

Wichita St/Kansas in Omaha is gonna be a wild one. They are only 2 hours drive down I-70 apart.

They haven't met since 1992 and Wichita St accuses Kansas of dodging them because the Jayhawks refuse to schedule the Shockers in regular seasons.

Kansas denies it, but it's really lose/lose for Kansas to schedule that game. If they win "It was just a Missouri Valley Mid-major", if they lose "They lost to a Missouri Valley Mid-major".

Either way, both fan bases traveled to Omaha strong. They might blow the roof off of the CenturyLink Center.

I don't know anyone that watches 60 minutes. But come to think of it, I can't think of many sporting events on CBS on Sunday night. Closest is NFL divisional round that starts around 5 and can go to 8:30. Even then, I think they just show 60 minutes delayed.

Well, you now know 1. I watch it. I won't watch it live tonight. I'll watch it tomorrow, though.

I don't think young people watch any news shows anymore. There's a lot of old farts out there, though. A LOT of people who could care less about sports.

Still getting over that empty feeling of knowing your teams season is over but at the same time all good games today and who knows maybe Dayton sneaks in a victory

I'm 25.

I watch the news nightly and will watch 20/20 on abc and dateline on NBC from time to time. I also watch Nancy Grace sometimes as well

'thrill is gone'/'cup is empty' stuff...
pays to recall that Jamaican Rasta man's admonishment: "Not to worry mon, sun come up tomorrow."
