Word is betts turned down over 300 million from the Red Sox and might not see that when he becomes a FA. I know you follow baseball a lot. Any thoughts on that?

george Springer needs 2 days to get to fa this fall. If the astros go 2-11 I won’t blame him for going him. He would’ve already been paid if the team acted in good faith.

Only a few teams could afford that type of investment, and his current club and former are two of them.

Depends on the market-he's going to be the top available FA. I expect the Dodgers will attempt to lock him down at some point this "season".

he’s resisted any extensions. He wants to see his market value.

but he could be in for a ride awakening. 200m might be closer to than 300m for his new deal if he tries to cash in this winter
