Given how the pitchers had been pitching lately, the rotation should have been Soroka-Folty-Keuchel

I get Keuchel has the most playoff experience, but he did tend the year strong

Freddie Freeman if you ask me. Snit did lose Game 1 though by pulling Fried and going to his butt buddy Luke Jackson. And it will bother me until the Braves Win a playoff series(probably the rest of my life) wondering what happens if Snit leaves Tomlin in on Game 4

No love for Acuna trying his best Lonnie Smith imitation?

amirite @Win TWINS!!!

Acuna might have had a base running blunder, but him, Dansby and Duvall were our entire offense this series. Ozzie was decent too. The damn veterans are who killed us

Roberts. All managers make mistakes and/or bad calls, Roberts just seems to do it at the worst times.

Who experiments with “piggybacking” at that time? You want to try it, fine, do it in the regular season or at least an earlier game, not in a series decider.

what? They did it before. It’s a standard practice come October.

they beat the Nats doing it it like 2 years ago.

I don't want the Braves to offer Keuchel a contract. He was bad more than he was good.

Not even close.

It's a large assumption to assume that he scores or even that he doesn't get doubled off.

You never know and we obviously will never know but that was a game changer

The craziest thing is when people say Lonnie Smith "cost the Braves a World Series" just because that happened late in the game. When you judge a player you have to take the good and the bad. There were two other games in that series that they won by 1 run where Lonnie Smith hit a homerun.
If you blame him for losing the World Series then you're also saying you'd be better off without him. But if you took him off that team there's no guarantee that you don't lose the series even earlier.

Players for sure.

2 of the biggest plays in the Braves series involved slow Molina hits going to Freeman. Didn't provide much with the bat, either.

Braves and Cardinals were both abysmal with RISP until the Cards rampage in game 5. Braves were a hitting team and weren't able to get it done with the bat and if Carlos Martinez wasn't such a trainwreck then it might've looked even worse.

It’s gotta be Roberts.

With a 3-1 lead in the eighth and everyone available, why go to Kershaw out of the pen with his well-documented playoff struggles and his stuff nowhere near where it used to be? Then, in the tenth why leave Kelly (and his record of shitting the bed this season) in there after a walk and a double?

Baffling. I loved it. Hope to see more of it in the future.
