Scoring fiesta. 4-3 Blues after 2. Halak with a HUGE stop on a Franzen breakaway with 15 seconds left in the period.
Detroit had been down by 3, then the Blues just stopped skating. Even when the Wings are playing awful hockey, you just don't stop skating against them without paying a price.

Tonight you could see the effect of Pavel not playing. Now Babcock will have some time to work the lines and get these guys to START A HOCKEY GAME ON TIME.

My random thoughts on the game...
1.) I hate playing to the level of the competition. It's happened way too much the last month.
2.) I used to like the Blues better when they suited up 2 backup goalies every game.
3.) I could of stopped D,agostini's breakaway.
4.) I know you like to play the hot hand, Mike. So, why the hell doesn't Helm, Abby, and Eaves play more?
5.) Let's keep bitching about Rafalski. It's working.
6.) How long is Big E's leash, anyway?!? Kindl sounds like a Christmassy name. Let's put him in.
7.) Pavel would have still gotten an assist with a broken hand. I can't prove it, but you can't prove me wrong either.
8.) "I guess that's why they call it the Blues..."
9.) Mickey hates your fragile little stick. I'm pretty sure he muttered that they go well with today's pussified game during the commercial break.
10.) Better than where we were sitting last year at this time.
11.) Sorry WW, I don't post during games. Not a superstition, just that my hands are usually balled up into fists and new computers are expensive. Ask his cousin, the alarm clock, he'll tell you what time it is...
