I don’t think it would even take that much. I’d be ecstatic if Detroit were able to get a 1st. Slay is in his final year and wants a new deal now.

I bet it is a 2nd rd pick we end up getting.

No. That was letting Jenkins go and replacing him with mills.

Could just as easily be for a pick and a player ... Maybe Sidney Jones and a 3rd? Jones did have some good plays to end the 2019 season ... maybe Detroit sees a potential late breakout and wants to roll the dice.

A 3rd and a 5th is a great deal for the Birds. 2019 was a bit of a lost season for Slay as he battled through some injuries and distractions were there with contract issues and possible trade looming. I think he gets back on his game this year on a contending team with his deal in place. This is a huge get for the Eagles along with an upgraded DLine who is not just adding Javon Hargrave, but also getting back a 100% Malik Jackson who wasn't able to play in 2019 after getting hurt game 1.

No, he is too old, and he is hurt a lot.

He just turned 31. Josina Anderson says there is more coming for the Eagles. A report says that Jones might be had for a 2nd + later picks. If so, I'd do that in a NY minute!! With Slay & Jones = "the future is now"! We could target a top CB in the draft if this would happen. Just dreamin'.

I think a 2nd is too much for a guy that has been hurt as much as him, but, when he is healthy, he is a huge difference maker. It will be interesting to see how he and Djack can co-exist.
