Normally, I would say no. However, the giants have no run game and it seems like all of the best players on the niners defense are out. Without Sherman, Bosa, Ford, or Thomas, does this defense have enough bite left to be considered good? I think Jones could easily tear them apart this week. I don’t seem him facing a great deal of pressure.

SF secondary isn't bad and I have a feeling he would struggle. When the team is one sided(pass), it just doesn't go well, especially with a newbie QB.

Strong play?

no.

Does it have a chance to pay off?

Sure.

Definitely not a matchup I would seek out for a very mediocre QB though. This one reeks of a low scoring affair with 9er playmakers out and the Giants just being bad.

Niners are diminished, but I just have a feeling that they're going to control possession, so we could see fewer possessions for each team. And despite injuries, the Niners defense is probably still better than the Giants offense, which has only scored 29 points through 2 games and just lost its best player.

Chalk up another tally for - strong, no..possibly good idea, yes

Depending on your other options, not a bad idea, but I wouldn't play him over any of the "standard" good plays

Well. I'll play outlier...

Yes. He will have a good game and I'm calling a Giants upset.
Not hard to imagine 50+ pass attempts... maybe he rumbles on the ground a bit today too.

I'm in the middle. Think he has a good day. Might be great if he can keep from turning it over. My guess is he will have to sling it cuz Lewis is not the answer. Who is your other option?
