Appreciate the link TCB. This would be bigger than any free agent we could sign this year. Probably Dan's biggest move since convincing Gibbs to come back. Not looking forward to watching Bruce blow another 30 million and waste another draft. If they can convince him back into football you would have to think he would have total control. I assume top executive position doesn't mean consultant.

Lol....very true. Scot wrote this about Russell Wilson before the draft: "We would generally like to have more height when it comes to our passers, but Russell may be an exception to the rule. He's special, he has the "it" factor." This needs to happen.

Yes. This might be the move that could possibly save this franchise and prevent Snyder from having to rip out another 20,000 seats.

Looks like it's time to temper the enthusiasm a bit, given the fact that there are other suitors who are more likely willing to give him complete control. Unless I've missed something, the GM is still Moe (3 stooges). I don't believe that money alone will be the lure to get this guy. His career bend appears to be in gaining great satisfaction in doing a great job. Demons and all his track record speaks for itself. So if by chance Snyder convinces him to come here, I'll expect major moves in front office personnel , coaching staff along with player acquisition and movements. Although it's difficult to temper any joy in moves like this, we must find the energy to do exactly that.

Agree totally. This makes too much sense and is too good for it to come together for us. I believe he's only 43. I doubt money is the issue, control is what will get him here.
