Isn't Mixon still on the board? Cause ummm, I feel he is a better RB than Cook is.

Not gonna lie here, but I really want to see him catch a pass out in the flat in Eagles green and blow past your Cowboys defense....

All the talk, all the rumors, I still think he's going to a very productive RB in this League....
sure you do...philly and Washington fans remain ALL ABOUT DALLAS

Cook is the perfect example of a player that should be a 2nd rounder. There are some risks there with injuries and maybe, maybe some off the field stuff. Cook is quick, strong and versatile but he is a running back.

The better question isn't about Cook going in rd2. Its McCaffrey going top 10.

Also, nobody should ever quote Sportscience when describing how good someone will be.

Cook will be a Detroit Lion
I hope. :hope:

Detroit might be a bad place for somebody thought to be vulnerable to bad influences.
Stafford desperately needs a viable running game though.

Yeah he could become a fag hipster like a lot of the people in downtown Detroit.

McCaffrey's value will be his versatility. The Panthers better know he's not a typical feature back or he'll be wasted.
He can be a top slot receiver and spot back in my opinion. Use him like The Pats use their short white slot guys.

Oh, I know. I like McCaffrey a lot. The Panthers can use him like the Patriots use James White.
Its just that top 10...eh..

There are like 8 top notch running backs in this draft imo.

Whats the ballpark opinion on player comparisons for Cook? About how good do people think he is? If I say he is in the same ballpark as Cadillac Williams am I missing something that you guys who have seen all of his game has seen?

I think fumbling might be a concern, too.

But I believe Cook is the best player we've ever had at FSU. I heard Sports Science say Cook was the 2nd fastest RB they've ever recorded.
LMAO!!!

That would be Derrick Brooks...

Thats not bad but I could see a Coleman type slipping to rd2. I wonder if there is any merit to the off the field stuff pushing him down.

He hangs out with his old gang banger friends from High School, kind of like Hernandez and a lot of other pro players do.

Gang affiliated people befriend talented athletes and protect them, in turn they expect the top talent to look out and be loyal to them once they make it big.

And sometimes the kid is an irreputable thug who hangs out with other thugs. Either way when you have a guy who's reluctant to cut ties with his seedy friends it usually doesn't end well.

Florida State has had 3 Heisman trophy winners. Derrick Brooks. Neon Deion. The Dillards Dummy Peter Warrick. The Noles have at least one guy with an award named after him. Hell, FSU had Sabastian Janakowski! You have Cook as your best player ever?

Tevin Coleman

Coleman is more a straight line speed and power guy. I see Cook as a far more complete back who can both avoid contact, run through it when he has to and outrun defenses once he gets to daylight.

We don't need Dalvin Cook. We already have Dalvin Cook. Goes by Ameer. That's not to argue who's better, who's better is irrelevant. They bring a similar skillset and neither has what we're missing in our stable, a bruiser.
