Its funny, the moves NFL teams don't make, triggers a rash of moves we make. Think a lot were hoping for something changing to the real status quo, and when it didn't, we changed ours instead. I'm sure it would've been as much, or more, had the trade deadline actually produced more interesting results than Manny Sanders, Sanu, and Drake

For me the impetus was bye weeks and the fact that @femurov was looking to deal a TE. He has been a natural trade partner for me since the offseason as my primary roster goal all year has been to get a reliable TE.

Thanks @obxyankeefan . I was on it but a reminder never hurts.
The trade:
ehb gets my 2020 1st round pick (should be juicy based on my record)
Fuzzies get David Johnson for next year and my 3rd round pick back.
I would probably have targeted a RB with my first rounder anyway. This way I get a proven commodity.
That gives ehb 4 first round picks in the 2020 draft. Talk about a rebuild!!!!

But this is also what I was saying about people trying to gouge me early last week.

I was getting QBs offered who are a lot worse than Brees who don’t necessarily have firm grips on starting jobs long term for 1st and 2nd round picks.

I'm kind of proof of that right here. I traded for Dak because Stafford scared me. Seems premature in hindsight.

Yep, that's me. If I hadn't gone all in on Murray, I'd pay up for Dak...as is, I'd still love to have him, but can't justify a fair offer, so I'm forced to just deflect TKO's advances like a hot chick in a bar at closing time. Cant even counter, cuz i know itd be lowballing

I like Dak and wouldn't mind making a deal but I'm pretty happy with Lamar and don't see myself moving him soon so there's not much point.
