Is this a possibility? What would you give up for Cutler?

I would send them Tyler Polumbus, they would still owe me a later round draft pick.

Trust me. I live in chicago. U do not want that drama queen at all. He will tear your locker room apart. Starting with the OL. theres a reason denver gave up on him. Now the bears. But he will get u a TD or 2 in mop up duty.

I have gone over the numbers front to back. After the Skins sign their rookies and their own free agents, they will have about 20 million to spend on other team's free agents. That number is also based on us cutting or letting Orakpo, Coefield, Chester, Bowen, Paulson, etc....go. Cutler is gonna make 16.5 next year. I can't see us spending 90% of our cap space on Cutler. I do think he would ball out here and Gruden would fall in love with him. Just can't do though.

I agree I don't want him but we all unfortunately have seen over and over and over Snyder making dumb moves and money doesn't matter to him.

Lets see. That head case coming into this dysfunctional asylum? Why not? What could go wrong?

At least it would be entertaining for a while.

This thread drips of desperation, We have a QB here that some say has failed under two head coaches and two different offensive philosophies and now we have some daring to consider picking up a QB who has reportedly failed under different head coaches and several different offensive philosophies? Brilliant!!!, But what the hell, let's go get Jeff George....er.......Jay Cutler

Damn you beat me to the Jeff George joke.

Why do people still post that Snyder is going to be making these decisions?

If this were to occur the correct answer to your question should be 1. your season tickets & 2. all Redskins gear that you own!

I assume you are joking about the Snyder question, right?

No thanks.

If he was considerably cheaper I would say go for it, why not. He is pretty much better than the options we have on the team at the moment... Which is pretty bad, cuz he isn't much.

Because there is some evidence that Snyder and Bruce Allen pressured Shanny into RGIII. So the rumors persist.

Evidence where??/ Unnammed sources?????

I refuse to believe Shanny was pressured to do anything.....Sure they may have wanted the move....told him to do it....But ultimately.....Mike had all the power.....He could not listen, do as he wished, and if they didnt like it....they could fire him and pay him what...28Mil?????

I said there was "some evidence" not that there was conclusive proof beyond any reasonable doubt that would hold up in court. And the question was "why do people keep talking about Snyder making these decisions", to which the answer simply is: Because there continues to be reports that he is doing so. Obviously none of us has picture perfect insight to the exact dynamics of the Shanny/Snyder/Allen/RGIII decision process, but it has been reported that Allen pressured Shanny to make the RGIII trade. So that conversation will continue until there are no more such reports.

and what old boy is talking about are those reports are based on un named sources and, author speculation that you try to sell as fact

sure some are most likely true and some others are not

the facts are that shanny had the power . if he went with what the others said , it was STILL HIS CHOICE

right now the buck stops at allen's desk . he can be held totally accountable for what he has done last off season and this year .

the years shanny was here isnt so provable hence people say give him some more time
