Off topic question for you.

Alberto Mendoza. Is he any good, and if so, how good is he? He's in Atlanta now at GT.

Hard to say. He seems to have that same work ethic, definitely more of a runner. Never saw him throw a ton it was always mop up duty handing the ball off. Cig had to yell at him once when pulling the rpo's too much.

Exactly.

They need a QB and some skill position guys. Not sure what kind of depth they had or what they did in recruiting to address the losses they had

They brought in Hoover from TCU at QB and Marsh from MSU, probably the best WR in the portal not named Coleman. Bring back Becker and Tyler Morris who came from Michigan, tore his ACL before last year.

He should fit right in here, then. Key likes a good run first qb.

I'll be interested to see how he does. If cig offered him a scholarship he saw something in him.

We shall see. We need to get back to playing for the ACC title again.

Until two years ago, IU was my school of choice for decades to see teams I'd never seen play in person. Have seen over half the B10 play there, as well a several non-conf teams, was always easy to get tickets and parked in a church parking lot across the street from the stadium for $10 (donation). Easy 2.5 hour drive. Then they started winning.

Last year, replaced them with Purdue. A slightly longer drive, easy tickets, but less preferable parking. Will go see both Wash and Wisc play at Purdue in Oct and Nov, respectively. That will wrap up the B10 for me. May even go see them play WF in Sept.

I've seen 98 (current) FBS schools in person, will hopefully make this 105 this season. Is there a thread here where members can post games they will be attending in case anyone wants to meet up with others from the forum?
That’s awesome! Definitely on my bucket list at some point to expand the pitiful number of home teams I’ve seen, though I’ve seen quite a few programs play Navy over the years.

Never thought I'd see the day where the BigTen 3-peated as national champs.

Yeah it's a little tarnished because everyone knows ann arbor had to cheat to get their first title in 75 years (1948 to 2023).

So obviously that means the maze 'n blew are a lock to win it all in 2098.

“Trust me. He’s gonna be a great player.”Before he was an NFL star, Russell Wilson was underrated QB recruit a lot of colleges weren’t sold on because of his height. The coach who stood on the table for him at NC State? Curt Cignetti.
