Feel like the Bengals built for one season, went for broke, a couple of years ago. Didn't build for the long term and now we are paying the price. Paid Burrow well, but now can't afford a supporting cast. Going to be a long next few years.

Well - that's not true.

They offered him MORE than Jefferson. The sticking point because about the years and then the guarantees (cash flow issues). So, they offered him a TON of money - highest paid WR - he turned it down.

yea, at this point the bengals need to just chill out and let it ride. I'd have to see him play like he used to, it's possible he's just not the same anymore.

He was quite open last Sunday - Burrow missed him. A lot. Especially on that last drive.

They'll both come around - but this is a hangover from Burrow not playing in a live game (more than 1 series) since mid-2023 and Chase sitting out all pre-season.

I'll also add - the limited routes that Chase was called on to run was comical. Same stuff, different game for Taylor.
