Yup, you are right. You can have 100 posts on the Cowboys board with the term "Redskins" and I wouldn't care nor would you see me reply. That's because I don't lurk around your message boards. I have no business there. I have never been to a Cowboys board nor will I. As such, your post doesn't really hold water with me. If you can find 1 post of mine on the Cowboys board, I'll send you a check.

How about you not post on here and I won't post there. Does that sound fair???

Nope. So I cant voice an opinion if I am not a Redskins Fan ? Your more than welcome on the Cowboys board if you want to post respectfully. If not your choice. As far as my opinion not holding water with you well that's your choice again. Tell you what lets just ignore each other and leave it at that .

good day

Skinsdad-

Why don't you toss some of these guys out? They are just trolling. I hope we don't have Skins fans lurking on the Cowboys board.

The legacy continues, Fletch, Asbestos, Earl Stevens, Ezequiel, Eastbay.....geez, those guys bring back some memories from back in the day with Shark, Goldy and the crew.

Duke. Some of those posters you mention certainly did cross the line & only deserve to have limited posting rights in this forum. However - posters like Cowboycolors & Pday don't fit that mold. They are objective, always give credit to the Redskins when appropriate & appear to be good guys. I would certainly not lump them in with some of the other extreme Cowboys posters.

Also - good suggestion by Cowboycolors. The ignore feature is always an option - I have used it several times on the main bd for some posters who have annoyed me.

The fact that a Redskins fan, instead of talking the draft, FA, etc, felt the need to start a thread to talk about the popularity of the Cowboys is all the proof you need that the Skins will always be little brother.

Nah. I think that fans of both teams mainly care about just winning regardless of the other teams success. I would be thrilled to death to see something along the lines of a Redskins-Cowboys NFC championship at some time in the future. I also would have absolutely no problem with the Redskins going 14-2 if both of those losses were against the Cowboys.

I'd welcome this just in hopes to get that first playoff win vs. the Skins. Dallas needs to pull that argument off of Washington's mantle.

I enjoy other team fans' perspectives and posts in threads myself. But I can appreciate that not everyone does.

Easy to spot trolling and Dad does a great job keeping the team board clean, IMO.

Then again, I post in more places on the Hoop then just the Skins board so I do recognize the styles and/or motivations of non skins posters more than most.

Are you kidding me? Given the scarcity of playoff wins for both of our teams in the recent past fans of both of our teams would be thrilled to win a playoff game against any team!

As to the thread topic, success breeds contempt, so no surprise to me that the Pats are the leaders in this poll of 410 people. Tho polling 410 people doesn't seem particularly credible.

As to the Boys being listed here, probably more a by product of successful team marketing by Jerrah since they haven't been truly relevant for almost as long as the Skins now. He does an excellent job keeping the Boys front and center in the news, regardless of the lack of success on the field. Makes it easy to hate/love them.

As a long time Skins fan, I want wins and wins are sweeter against the Boys because of shared history/rivalry. Tho I will admit the sweetness has ebbed with years of irrelevance for both our franchises.

Watching the SB past MVPs emerge this Sun, I was reminded again of how amazing the 80s were for the Skins. Made me sad for younger fans who never got to experience it.
