Jaylon Smith has found a new home. The linebacker agreed to terms with the Packers on Thursday. Smith was reported to be near a deal with the Pack on Wednesday night and was finalizing details with the club.

Not going to pee on your parade but I will rain a bit. The reason jaylon was 3rd in tackles in the league was Dallas DL sucked moose drool. He is a great human being and I wish him well. Maybe he can return to 2019 status. Good luck to him in GB.

I'm used to seeing our corners lead the team in tackles so even if he's halfway decent it's a step up for us

Aside from the car pickup fiasco and then trying to find the car drop off place great. Wifes cousin has a small pond on his lot got some bass fishing in.

He was very impressed wirh my fishing skills. I think the next time we return he's talking abiut a fishing contest between myself, his brother, and his son. I think I'd win that contest. He was picking my brain for tips before it was over.

Maybe a booby prize would be a better term...Jaylon has been absolutely horrible for a long time and all of those tackles were 8 yards downfield.

But, he's a good guy and I honestly hope he can turn it around and play well. Just don't ever let him on the field in the nickel...

26-year-old Smith was officially released by the Cowboys Wednesday, and the signing won't be official until Thursday. But Green Bay is where Smith wanted to be after getting his walking papers from Dallas. The former No. 34 overall pick of the Cowboys simply wasn't making plays in Dallas and fell out of favor with Micah Parsons, Leighton Vander Esch, and Keanu Neal soaking up the snaps. Smith was at Notre Dame with Packers coach Matt LaFleur when he was the Fighting Irish's QBs coach in 2014.

It's crazy how horrible Smith has been the last 3 years. What's even crazier is that Vander Esch really hasn't been much better. From where these two were in 2018 to where they are today is hard to explain.
