DFW...Daniel Berger...$1.350 mil

Hilton Head...Web Simpson...$1.278 mil

Travelers Hartford Ct...Dustin Johnson...$1.332 mil

These were the winners and their checks for each of the post CV19 events....It really seems like the PGAT hasn't changed the payout structure even though they haven't had a gate at any of these events.

While MLB has squabbled over player salaries, the NFL is already looking at the '21 cap and looking to suppress it...The PGA Tour is staying put on purses....maybe we'll hear something about purses next year, but for now pro golf has somehow figured out how to get their sport back with little public squabbling over money.

I'd guess TV deals and sponsorship of events is a larger portion of the prize money than in other sports.

IDK the % of the gate etc. but golf is no different from any other sport when it comes to the live gate....it's a nice chunk of change.

Most big events are drawing 30k a day on the weekends and maybe 10k a day Thursday and Friday....somewhere in the 40,000 to 50,000 range is a lot of parking, concessions, merchandising revenue for the week.

NASCAR salaries have never been public, but I’d be interested to see how the drivers are getting paid compared to last season. I guess they have the same tv deal and sponsors.

Good point...similar type week to week sport...I'd have to imagine the gate is healthy % of a NASCAR event take....some tracks hold well over 100,000 people.

Interesting they don't do that in NASCAR. I always felt Jr was one of the highest paid drivers, but a lot of that was probably off the track.

Jr was by far the highest paid, but not much of his earnings came from on the track. He had more endorsements than anyone else, and his dad had a pretty good business model set up that I’m sure he took over
