I'm a fairly big Tom Waits fan, and I like Jockey quite a bit. I'd never heard this version. I respect Bonamassa's playing, but his voice just doesn't carry enough water for that song.

Oddly, it also sounds to me like he's mixed in music/feel from Waits' song, Tango Till They're Sore.

I'm glad that I know the cover exists, but I don't think it's anywhere near as good as the original.
