Dont know why, but I spent today man crushing on Couturier. I dont know why, but for someone reason the thought of "Holy shit, he is really good." kept coming up over and over.

Just a disgusting thought, but can you imagine if he adds some muscle this summer? Holy shit. NHL.com has him as 6'3 197. Jordan Staal is 6'4 220. I thought of him adding that kind of muscle is crazy.

And I just wanted to share.

Ya dude. Couturier is gonna be really good. I know I am guilty of forgetting that this dude was a TEENAGE ROOKIE this year. He only played like it for a little while this preseason. I still cant believe what he did to Malkin...

Agreed and I'd rather have a player that can do it at both ends of the ice....way more valuable as the LAK's are proving. This team needs to rookies to buy into this philosophy and they will be unstoppable.

When Cooter grows into his frame he will be able scary. Staal is a good comparison but Cooter has even greater offensive upside potential. He has a scary good shot when he takes it, soft hands and uses the ice. Has the speed to open space for himself and the instict to get to open areas. If he is able to work on the PP next season look for him to make a jump to 20g 30a which in the dead puck era we live in is pretty darn good for a 2nd year player at 19 going on 20.

I personally like the fact that he has no teeth and looks like and plays like and old time player.
