Cousins

What would you guys do with him at this point? Looking over the upcoming schedule and possible return dates for RG3. It would seem like he might hold the job up to the bye week give or take a week early or later. How much would you value him in trade talks? I have a guy willing to move Cam. But he wants more than Percy for him. He says he will take Cousins in the deal. Cam hasn't been great so far but still a really good keeper option at QB. That would give me the leeway to move Dalton once RG3 is back for a upgrade at RB. We only keep 4 players and 1 IDP. I'm loaded at WR but so many of them are under performing killing my entire fantasy season. Thought this team would be really good outside a little weakness at RB2. So much for that lol.

I'm still of the opinion the Cousins fits this offense better and could very well keep the job. . So in my mind, RGIII isn't creating any leeway for you when he's activated. Having said that, I'd rather have Cam, especially since it's a keeper and some of his young WR's could develop nicely into next year. If ask for a throw in on his side as well to make it 2 for 2, but yeah, is do Harvin and Cousins for Cam and a scrub. And if RGIII does win the job back, bonus for you

He said he would do a 2nd just haven't had the chance to talk about who that might be. I could always send him a offer. He's shopping Dez as well but I don't think I have the pieces he wants to give up Dez. His roster see anyone I should pick for my +1? Somehow his roster is 4-1 fantasy football go figure.

He's 4-1.. scheduling. . Gotta be. Catching the right team on the right week. I've both made, and missed the playoffs based just as much on who and when I played them as I have on just outscoring the league.

I can get Martin and Dansby for Dalton. But Martin has been horrible and I don't see him getting better. At least not worth trading Dalton in a league with OP spot. He has L Bell but he's untouchable for anything.

How many teams, and is this a keeper league??

I have no problem this season going from cam to cousins, especially if you are to get percy harvin too... But if it is a keeper or dynasty league in where you would be keeping Cam, then i would not make this trade since i don't think Cousins has much of a future...

But if this is a 10-12 team league, i would never keep a non top 3 or luck QB, no matter how many keepers you have...

I would be giving Cousins and Percy to get Cam. Yes the plan would be to keep Cam. We can/should start 2 QB's every week with the OP positions. The QB pickings were rather slim going into the draft this year. The top guys were Dalton, Brady and then a huge fall off. I think I would rather have my QB's covered an go shopping for a WR in the draft going forward in this league. Though i'm sure I would give myself a lot of headaches having Cam/RG3 as my QB's lol.

Yeah. I think Cam gets better as the season moves along. Long term, you can replace Harvin.

Did not account for the 2 QB league... I would trade for cam... the potential for the future is too much in a 2 qb league...

Yeah that's my thinking. They should continue to add to Benjamin and Olsen as well for him. Maybe even a new RB next year. It comes down to what Cousins is worth. I personally think he's just a fill in until RG3 is ready. Not a threat to steal his job from what I have watched. Could be totally wrong but that's my gut feeling on the situation. Unless the injuries just get to the point that the Skins say enough is enough.

Doesn't matter. If Cousins steals the job or starts elsewhere next year, he's not Cam Newton. And Harvin is the price I would need if I were the Cam owner.
