Actually, the only Warriors player that did anything similar to what the Heat did is KD. Currey, Thompson, and Shrek were all drafted, and Cousins is taking a huge pay decrease. Lebron/Wade/Bosh were all getting max or near max deals, and the rest of the team, including the other 2 starters, we role players.

Also, the Heat didn't start the trend. The Celtics did with Garnett and Ray Allen joining Pierce.

For sure Warriors drafted well, they would have won several championships without KD. KD jumping ship to a stacked game was because of the heat.

Celtics did not have 3 players collude in the offseason to build a superteam. They traded assets to 2 teams that were ready to move on from their super stars. Celtics team was as legitimately built as the pre KD Warriors.
