Its amazing what a little pressure on the QB can do. I hate hate hated Gunthers rush 4 all the time scheme. If you allow any NFL QB to pat the ball they will pick you apart. Now if we can just get the offense going.

Gunther wanted to blitz, he couldn't override the HC. More so though I think Slay has taken huge strides under Austin. He worked out with someone during the offseason too. I can't remember now who it was but it was a former probowler, retired I believe.

Agreed. This topic seems to keep popping up still... Gunther lived on the blitz in KC until Herm Edwards took over as HC and wanted his scheme ran his way. Same thing in Detroit- he was running Schwartz's scheme Schwartz's way.

I'm not defending the dude or anything like that, couldn't really give a shit anymore now that he's not running the defense, just backing up what TBB is saying...
