Colombia v Chile going to penalties.

Chile had two goals disallowed and have been the better side.

Uruguay two goals disallowed by VAR.

Peru goes through on PKs, making both semis between bitter rivals.

Brazil v Argentina
Chile v Peru.

Copa America 2019: Disallow every goal so it ends in 0-0 tie and then go to penalties. Yuck. Not much exiting soccer in this tournament overall. Actually enjoying the Gold Cup more.

Next year is probably Messi's last chance at winning a title with Argentina because he's not winning the WC at age 35 with Argentina

Yeah. They need to get rid of the old guard, even for next season.

IMO, Aguero- gone, Di Maria - gone, Otemendi - gone

The future is Dybala, Martinez, Lo Celso, Lanzini, Pavon, De Paul etc.

They need to really build up their defense, but the biggest thing is the AFA needs to stop playing favorites and only calling up guys they like, and they need a manager who knows what he's doing.

Simeone would be perfect IF they let him do what he needs/wants to do, but doubtful they will, and he's publicly called them out on how corrupt the AFA is.

Also, they'll never get a manager like Simeone or Pochettino until after Messi retires for good.

Peru up 2-0

Shocking result for Peru....but in someways no surprise. Vidal and Sanchez were big disappointments last season in Europe and you knew this was coming at some point. I think Brazil breezes past Peru in the final now.

Yeah, as good as they were, Chile is an "old" team, the core players are all over 30, and you can just watch Vidal and see his legs aren't what they were even two years ago.

While Brazil SHOULD roll, I won't be surprised is they screwed the pooch somehow, wouldn't be the first final at home where they got upset by a big underdog

It should count. Have to realize these streaming places such as ESPN+ is where soccer is going these days. ESPN+ has Serie A, FA Cup, and now Copa America.

But if you don't mind watching in Spanish then it is on Telemundo.

Great game so far.

2-1 Brazil at halftime
