Cooper is a lot younger and more valuable in that regard but he would have been a #2 WR for Philly and their 3rd option which would have been ok. But in Dallas he’s the lead and he seems like a better 2. I’m glad we didn’t do a 2 and would have disagreed. Just saw a stat that Cooper has 4 hundred yard games in his last 20 games. Take those 4 away and he has 30 something catches for 400+ yard over 16 games. Yuck.

Cooper doesn't have to light it up in Dallas to change the dynamic for the Cowboys. If his speed can influence one safety, Zeke will have more room to run

You also have to figure what each teams needs. Dallas doesn't need the Golden Taint, we have Cole. We needed someone who could stretch the field and keep a safety over the top. Taint can't do that. Cooper might. Eagles don't need an outside guy, they need a Spoles type to run around in the middle. Cooper can't do that.

I am going with Cooper though as he has upside where tate already has his ceiling.

Player for player, I see that the same way...production? Pretty close. I'm not the biggest fan of the DAL OFC...they want to put Dak in 3rd and manageable, but often end up in 3rd and obvious, lower comp % targeting Cooper maybe. Whereas I think Wentz will have more higher % shots with Tate.

For which team? I would say each team got the receiver they needed most. I think Tate would be an upgrade over Beasley, but not a significant one. Cooper would just take some routes from Jeffery, but Jeffery is the better player.

Fact is either receiver would have improved either team, but each got the one that will add the most.
