The Broncos have scored 66 points in the 2nd half alone with 90 points total after 2 games. The next closest team is the Packers at 66 points total.

In the game thread yesterday there was a little discussion of how dating back to last season the offense has had a habit of really notching it up in the second halves of games. I tried to find some splits showing number of points by halves for last year, but couldn't find them. Anyone know of a site with those splits? I would be interested to see that, just not interested enough to look at the sixteen box scores.

I stupidly said at halftime "No way we're racking up 40+ points again today"......

Then they came out and steamrolled in the 2nd half.

Never again.

We were first in the league in second half points last year at 18.4 points per half, but only 12th in the league in first half points at 12 points per half. Seems that PM and the coaches have pretty consistently made good half time adjustments to the offense.
