I've been to many of The Moody Blue's concerts and I'm a great fan of theirs.
Their first six albums were very unique, they were some of the first concept and theme albums. Their music was about wandering and wondering. The band used orchestral music with rock before it was popular. They were ahead of their time in many respects.

Days of Future Passed.... 1967....Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band was released the same year.
In Search of the Lost Cord
On The Threshold of A Dream
To Our Children's Children's Children (one of the greatest albums ever)
A Question of Balance
Every Good Boy Deserves Favour

For me, it was just like The Chicago Cubs winning the World Series, I thought The Moody Blues making the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame would never happen.

I have all those albums in my iTunes collection (along with Seventh Sojourn, Octave & Long Distance Traveler) intact so that when any Moody Blues comes up, it's the entire side of the album - not single tracks. Last night I was preparing lasagna when Side 2 of "Threshold Of A Dream" popped on. Sang the entire thing.

Way, way overdue.
