He finished 3rd in the AL Cy Young voting. It was a great year for him, too bad too many of his starts were wasted with poor offensive performances. Despite 15 starts with the team scoring 3 runs or less, he ended with 14 wins and also finished the season with 23 scoreless innings (only pitcher in ML this season with 2 20 inning scoreless streaks).
