Finished the season with a .938 sv% breaking the old record of .937 by Dom Hasek. Very impressive!

They have one more game but it looks like Rask will play in the finale.

Lame, should've went the Ted Williams route.

Not too shabby for a 36 year old. Never was supposed to make it to the Big Show. One of the great stories in hockey.

Wanna see your playoff predictions next week. You called the Flyers last year (goddammit), and I think you were the only one that saw them coming.

To be fair (hehe), I think I only had them going to the ECF from the first round of picks (Pittsburgh overall), but yeah, I was sold on that team going into each new round, and I am still amazed that they couldn't beat Chicago, which I thought was a good matchup for them.

Right now, I'm leaning towards Buffalo, Boston, or Washington; but it depends on the draw. No one will make it out of the West alive.

Disagree, for the same reason Wayne Gretzky's 215 points aren't invalidated by Steve Smith. Records still mean something, and Tim Thomas is carving out a pretty good career - albeit a late one.

Lame, should've went the Ted Williams route.

Ted wasn't going to the playoffs like Tim, and Tim would have to have gotten a shutout, a goal, and an assist to go out like Teddy ballgame (home run in his last at bat).

I was meaning more the season when he hit .400 where he could have taken the last day off and he played and went something like 6-8 in a doubleheader. And I was kidding.
