The debate will be interesting when he's eligible. Stan Fischler said today on NHL Live that if Eddie Giacomin is in Osgood should be as well.

I think the only thing that might stop Osgood from making the HOF is the class of players he retires with; some other greats retire when he does then he might not make-it simply because he will get overlooked.

As of today, of the 400 win goalies he has the least losses and his GAA is better than many of them including Sawchuck and Roy. In my opinion he is in the HOF.
