DiPietro made 13 saves and was credited with the win despite the lower-body injury that was suffered during the second period. DiPietro was removed for precautionary reasons and likely won't miss much -- if any -- time.

Lawson will get probably get the start Thursday against Edmonton. Kevin Poulin has been called up in case Ricky can't back him up.

In all honesty I'd give Poulin the job now but he's only 20 & in his first season as a pro.
