I think for Western Kentucky, they have some bad losses to Ohio and UTSA that'll keep them out, barring them winning the tournament. They should definitely be in the NIT though if they get the offer.Mid Tenn State blew their At-Large chances as Marshall seems to have their number
really unfortunate that either Mid Tenn State, Western Kentucky or both will miss the tournament, both were good enough teams

But to lose to those teams with that horrible of an RPI definitely won't do you many favors. I think that if Mitchell Robinson had stayed on for the season instead of flaking out, that they would've definitely won some more of those close games and been in contention for an at large bid for sure.I know those are bad losses but you can't be perfect. After that performance in the Battle 4 atlantis it really put the target on your back

Middle Tennessee down 3 in OT
But they still are a NCAA tournament team. Clearly.
It's not happening tho. Gonna get penalized for 1 bad day. Smh.
They've got wins over Murray St and 2 over WKU and played a decent OOC. They've got a better resume than St Mary's anyway lolThey absolutey do not deserve a bid.
Their best win might be fucking Old Dominion
Here's what I don't like. Middle Tennessee State is a decent team with 7 losses and an RPI of 32, they are considered one of the first 4 out. Yet, Oklahoma, Syracuse and Louisville, who have higher RPIs and DOUBLE the losses are 3 of the last 4 in.I think MTSU could be on the outside looking in. It'll be interesting when I do my final bracketology on Sunday afternoon.

I don't understand why Oklahoma would be in this tournament when they only have 5 more wins than losses. That basketball team SUCKS. Syracuse has 1 good win against Clemson? Louisville's best wins are against Virginia Tech? I know it's more competitive divisions, but it still sickens me that MULTIPLE 14 loss teams that either didn't make it out of the 1st or 2nd round of their conference tournaments are in the big dance.
That's the problem though and why they are where they are. They have 7 losses and ZERO wins against at-large caliber teams. Also they've lost to Belmont at home, got swept by Marshall and just lost on a neutral court to an awful Southern Miss team. They had chances to prove themselves out of conference and lost to any credible opponent they played(Auburn, USC, Miami, Belmont). Their best win OOC is Vanderbilt. If you think Oklahoma sucks, what the hell do you think about Vanderbilt?
