We have only seen the starting offense for one series and I don't have a feel for what they turn out to be this year. We have only see the defense for a short while but it is hard not to like the idea of Allen, Ironman and Payne with Settle as depth. I think the depth after that falls off. Still in a wait and see position with the secondary.

i think the first team offense should have gotten more reps . now add to it reed will be rusty week one , CT will be rusty week one , trent will be rusty week one crowder will be rusty and i feel the defense will have to carry us week one .

now the offense will get better over the season as people get into thier grooves but new qb , new offense , and rust could , and i say could cause us issues

It will be fun to take a snapshot of these ratings & compare them w/ ratings & the results for all teams at the end of the season. I bet they won't even be remotely close. Since when has Beacher Report become a reputable source? I bet that most folks on this forum know more about the NFL than those clowns.

here is a big concern for me . CT , trent , crowder are all going into the season with no snaps in preseason

we have a new qb with 10 under his belt as of this writing .

now to think this offense and expect , expect being the key word , will come out and run like a well oiled machine is unlikely

smith needs game time with his weapons . they need game time with him . to expect trent and moses are going to be in top game shape and not make a few mistakes is foolish . some drops may occur that wouldnt , maybe a fumble or 2

now the above isnt meant to take a swipe at anyone , and hopefully it all works out , but our defense will have to carry the day week one because i dont see our offense being ready week one

Agreed!! What bothers me is the coaches are putting their players in a lose-lose situation.

Scenario #1. Let's say Gruden is honestly saving them for opening day and they're otherwise healthy. Without the reps they are being disadvantaged.

Scenario #2. They haven't yet fully recovered to the point where they can get the reps and Gruden is holding them out under the guise "saving them for the opener/limiting injury risk. If I'm the opposition player, my main goal against my opponent is to test that injured part. Again disadvantage us!

If I am not mistaken I believe BR is made up of fans like you and I who write pieces

A cousin of mine wrote a couple articles for BR and as far as I know hes not in the industry

Appreciate the feedback. So basically the review is no different than any of us posting here. Like I said the NFL is a dynamic environment so a lot of these predictions are very likely going to be way, way off. That is kind of what makes it fun.

My concern Grudumb will choose QUICK over sims and apke and put them on practice squad which other teams will snatch up for there 53 team roster and sooner or later this staff will get fired if it keeps going like it is
