I knew people would pounce on that line. It seemed like he was trying to make a joke but the writers room isn’t full of ol’ boys for JR to pal around with.
LTIR is our hero right now. It's not just the Canucks, they're are several teams in the league that could utilize one of those compliance buy-outs right about now...
He went from answering one question saying they needed to create cap space and get younger to the next question about Kuzmenko saying they just started talking to his camp last week and want to keep him around.i mean we may be years away from being able to actually start fixing this which is even more years. we may not have another contending team for 5-7 years. Hughes and Petey will be gone by then. so well fooking hell I am so discouraged

Kuzmenko’s a legit producer who’s 27 in a few weeks and just played a year for free. Pretty much no shot he doesn’t want some good money to sign long-term. So which is it? Create space or keep guys and eat up more space?
Every answer was almost immediately followed with a contradiction. That was some bewildering shit.

There should be a compliance buyout function structured like compensation for RFAs. If the aav is $5 million or less you lose a second round magic bean. 5-7.5 million you lose a first and second rounder. 7.5 to 10 two firsts and a second. Over 10 million three firsts. It's not just the Canucks, they're are several teams in the league that could utilize one of those compliance buy-outs right about now...
Yikesthe 17min mark wow
Glad to see both sides wanting to get something done!
/I wonder how much this has to do with the Canucks not wanting to piss off Dan Milstein.
He'll go to TB for a reclamation project and score 6 against the Leafs in the first round.Bye Bo. I am so glad he will be moving away from this freaking circus... I hope he wins a Stanley Cup. Even if he went to Toronto (which he wont), that is how much I want him to win in that I dont care if its Toronto
