He was just named Hockey Director and coach at the local rink I play at. We have a pretty low level minor team and not much of a hockey community to speak of, but pretty cool for me as a Kings fan!

Good to see him land on his feet. He was a bust as a 1st round pick but he really focused on his sick wife (can't remember what she had) between the time he left Edmonton and I would assume the last year or so, hopefully there was a happy outcome there but I'm not sure.

Pretty cool to see professional hockey players involved in community things like this no matter how their careers panned out.
