Remember when Rex Burkhead was going to be a contributor on our team?

I think he still is going to be a contributor.

I think Wilder will go to PS, and by next year, we will have gotten rid of BJGE and Peerman, maybe even get rid of Peerman this year.

He should have been. But he got black balled, even more than he already had *wink* for nailing some GM's wife or daughter. Only reason a guy who averages over 7 yards a carry gets basically banned from the league I would imagine.

Maybe he was gay, and the league wasn't ready for that several years ago, but now they are ready to welcome them all with open arms.

He was cut by other teams, no?

Wasn't he on Indy's team? They could have used a RB, I'm sure.

He just wasn't good enough.

I think it's funny that everyone always wants to cut Peerman. The guy has starred on special teams every year he has been here. And he's probably as good a running back as Burkhead.

He is also older now, and we know what NFL stands for, especially as you start to age and you are only a special teams player.

Peerman is toast. Same way they transitioned away from Myles a year ago, Peerman is next.

Sure.... Same way everyone wanted Vincent Rey cut because he only plays ST.

Well, by everyone, I sure the hell hope you don't mean me? I never wanted Rey cut, as he seemed to me a quality backup LB. I had no idea he was capable of being as good as he is, but I always thought of him as a backup LB 1st and special teams players second.

So which 1 of these guys will make the team?????

You have to figure it will be in an area where we will be thin do to injuries or an area that we traditionally keep a lot of players for special teams..... That's normally what opens the door for an undrafted guy. My guess is that the safety might have a good shot.... Or one of the guards (depending on Boling's health).

One of the FB's have a chance if Hue wants a big FB for his running attack.

Plus, I think a few others stand a good chance at the practice squad at least to start the season.
