Some provinces have banned the sale of US alcohol, I think. Ontario made a big show of it. I don't even know if BC did or not.

Honestly unless you're into bourbon there isn't much reason to drink American booze anyway.

There are some amazing wine producers from the PACNW and California (less my style in general) but there is nothing you basically can't get from Europe or even the Okanagan.

There are definitely some excellent American beers but local beers in most parts of Canada are now incredible.
