I'm hoping Johnny Football doesn't catch fire.

There isn't much reason to believe in Cleveland in this game. Their quarterback that was actually playing quite well is out for the game. Half of their team started off the week wondering if they would be traded. They've lost three straight games. And they're missing a key defender.

On the other hand, they don't have any 'bad' losses and they do have a bunch of guys that whipped our ass on national television last year and Dalton has never looked comfortable against them.

I think we win by 2 scores, but I think it's an ugly game.

Haden out, Whitner out, their backup safety behind Whitner is out. The defense was already struggling, and now will get worse. Much worse.

Hartline is out, Hawkins is out...They'll be forced to play Bowe who's been so bad he can't even get activated for games.


This is the kind of game the Bengals usually struggle with, but I'm going to go out and say this ends up a blow-out. Hill/Bernard will chew them up as the defense will look to drop 6 or 7 and keep the big plays from happening.

JFF has no one to throw to but their TE, who hopefully will get covered with ReyM out, so that's an upgrade.

Whoa! I didn't realize they were hurting this much..... The talent disparity on the field tomorrow will be immense. If this game is within a single score anytime in the second half, it reflects a lack of focus by the Bengals.

Duke Johnson Jr. is a legit receiving threat and a perfect check down option for JM to go to when he realizes he has 1 second to throw and no one is open downfield.

They need to keep JFF in the pocket and make him throw. Keep him from getting out and creating, which has always been his strength.

Offensively, they Bengals should impose their will be it in the passing or running game. Considering the short turnaround time from Sunday to Thursday, I would expect to see some serious smash mouth, will-imposing drives from Gio and Hill and the OL. Nothing to strategize here, just flat out punch them in the mouth football.
